In its storied 125+ year journey, the Hubli Gymkhana Club has come a long way from a place of recreation for British officers of the Madras Southern Railways and Revenue officials, to its modern avatar. This includes:
THE CLUB HAS INDOOR SHUTTLE COURT COMPLETE WITH MODERN SYNTHETIC COVERED WOODEN FLOORING, DAYLIGHT ILLUMINATION, LOCKERS, CHANGING ROOM AND WELL TRAINED STAFF. REGULAR SHUTTLE COACHING CLASSES ARE CONDUCTED FOR THE BENEFIT OF MEMBERS’ CHILDREN.
- GPL (THE CLUB HAS BEEN CONDUCTING THE ANNUAL GYMKHAN PREMIER LEAGUE IN-HOUSE BADMINTON LEAGUE FOR THE LAST 10 YEARS. THIS IS OPEN TO ALL CLUB MEMBERS)
Our Health Club is well equipped with top quality Physical Fitness Equipment and state-of-the-art spa facility for an immersive experience that includes oil massage and steam bath. Manned by certified trainers and masseurs, our Health Club is one of the most extensively used facilities by our members and visiting affiliate members).
The spacious Billiards Room fitted with central air-conditioning is located on the 2nd Floor of the Club House Building sports imported Billiards Tables. The adequately illuminated room is designed to International Standards.
The centrally air-conditioned Cards Section consists of 6 tables tucked away in a cosy setting on the 1st floor of the club house and is used by long-time members regularly.
The repurposed old gym on the ground floor of the Club House now offers carroms, table tennis, chess, darts and board games for members of all age groups to unwind. It has become one of the most widely used facilities at the club.
The unique roof top pool at Hubli Gymkhana Club is a well-designed with ample greenery and wooden flooring around with safety control in mind. Operated at different timeslots for gentlemen, families and ladies, the facility is manned by a certified coach and life guard who also provides annual coaching camps for swimmers.
The poolside doubles up as a fine dine family restaurant that can host 50+ members in the evenings in well-lit and safe environment.
The lawn at the Hubli Gymkhana Club are among the main attractions among members and has been designed for family & friends to unwind in a well landscaped environment. A wide cinema screen for live Sports screenings is open in the evenings from 6.00 P.M to 11 P.M on all days.
